Can I tell you something? I'm a little tired of the bird motif. I admit, I'm guilty of bird-mania in my shop but lately it seems like everything is: birds, birds, birds. A little unoriginal. However....this guy, I like. He reminds me of a parakeet I had as a child, that lived for 9 years. Okay maybe not nine but I'll tell you I was in college when he finally left for parakeet heaven. He's five bucks, He's pink and turquoise, and he's going to live a nice long life framed on my wall.

I struggle with the over-done bird motif, they are annoying because they are everywhere, but they are so cute! I like the parakeet, I had one as a kid and it too cost $5.00 (from Woolworths), lived a very long time, and it actually said a couple of words!
I know, I too struggle. They are so darned cute aren't they?
This one is much more unique than a lot of the bird prints I've seen...it's great!
